| LOIBNER FRAUENWEINGARTEN –
A flat site featuring warm soils composed of sands washed out of the Danube.
The ideal terroir for our Federspiel Gruners. These wines are structured
like lace, with clear and delicate Veltliner fruit. LOIBNER KLOSTERSATZ – One of the oldest sites of the Wachau, which was established by monks of Salzburg and Bavarian monasteries, from which it takes its name. A deep-soiled plot in the Loiben Basin, where the washed-away terrace rock mingles with brown earth and Danube sand. Wines with deep, spicy fruit and gentle minerality are typical of this site. LOIBNER OBERHAUSER – A sub-site within Klostersatz with a very high portion of gravel. This is the perfect terroir for the fruity, easily accessible type of Riesling. Wines with a clear and straight structure, delivering a racy fruit and refined taste. > close |
